You’ll have great fun preparing these with your toddler and they taste great too.


  • 6 pitta breads
  • 3tbsps tomato purée
  • Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • Green pepper, sliced
  • 3 slices of ham, chopped
  • 1 tin of sweetcorn


  1. Preheat the grill. Place your pitta breads on a greased baking tray. Spoon on some tomato purée, spreading it out to the edges.
  2. Add a layer of grated cheese, which is a great source of calcium, to each pizza base. Cheddar is usually a firm favourite with kids.
  3. Top with the red onion, green pepper, ham and sweetcorn.
  4. Cook the pitta pizzas under the grill until warmed through and the cheese is bubbling.
