avocado cucumber puree

A simple, no-cook purée that’s packed with green goodness! Slice the remaining half of the avocado and add it to a salad or sandwich for your lunch. Suitable from 6 months+.

Ingredients

  • ¼ small cucumber
  • ½ avocado, peeled, stoned and chopped

Method

  1. Peel the cucumber and slice in half lengthways. Scrape out the seeds with a teaspoon. Chop into small chunks.
  2. Whiz the cucumber and avocado until smooth using a hand-held blender or food processor. For just-weaned babies, pass the purée through a nylon sieve.
