An irresistible sweet dessert, great for your toddler and all the family.

Ingredients

  • 450g strawberries or raspberries - fresh or frozen (and thawed)
  • 150g sugar
  • 1tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1pint whipping cream

Method

  1. Wash and remove the stalks from your fresh or frozen (and thawed) fruit and blend in a food processor together with the sugar and balsamic vinegar. Cover and chill overnight.
  2. Whip a pint of whipping cream to soft peaks and mix in the puréed fruit. Pour into a freezer-proof container, cover and freeze for 2-3 hours until partly frozen.
  3. Beat the mixture with a fork to break up the ice, and then freeze overnight.
