Easy berry ice cream

An irresistible sweet dessert, great for your toddler and all the family.
Ingredients
- 450g strawberries or raspberries - fresh or frozen (and thawed)
- 150g sugar
- 1tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1pint whipping cream
Method
- Wash and remove the stalks from your fresh or frozen (and thawed) fruit and blend in a food processor together with the sugar and balsamic vinegar. Cover and chill overnight.
- Whip a pint of whipping cream to soft peaks and mix in the puréed fruit. Pour into a freezer-proof container, cover and freeze for 2-3 hours until partly frozen.
- Beat the mixture with a fork to break up the ice, and then freeze overnight.
